Add a "Latest News" pane
Latest news about the company would be displayed here. Maybe a list of 3 and a read more button to expand for full view. May be placed at the leftmost or rightmost side of the page outside the main layout.

provide a better way to edit each section of the web as you are building it. Also, there should be a way to make the spacing closer .
I am unable to take out the hours section on my website and I don't see anywhere that I can do that. It is sorta frustrating. Also, the spacing between the lines are unadjustable. They are too far apart in places and I would like for the ability in editing to make that happen.

Affiliate marketing
Is there a way to display affiliate marketing links (outbound to third-party sites)?

Enable editing of titles
Being able to change titles such a 'Newsletter Signup' would give some completed sites a smoother look

You can use the About section to add hyperlinks to external sites. You can also use the Link Button to link to your primary call to action.
